- Introduction
KD Transport strives to provide reliable and timely transportation services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms related to cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of services booked with us.
By booking our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms mentioned below.
- Service Booking and Advance Payment
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of advance or full payment as agreed.
- All quotations and invoices include charges for transportation, permits, tolls, and other applicable fees unless otherwise specified.
- Cancellation by Customer
- Written Cancellation Required: All cancellations must be communicated to us in writing via email or official letter.
- Cancellation Timeline & Charges:
- More than 7 days before scheduled pick-up: Full refund of advance, after deducting administrative and permit costs (if any).
- 3–7 days before scheduled pick-up: 50% of the advance is refundable; permit and operational costs will be deducted.
- Less than 3 days before scheduled pick-up: No refund of advance; any actual expenses incurred will be deducted from the paid amount.
- Any government fees, permits, or third-party payments made on your behalf are non-refundable.
- Cancellation by KD Transport
If KD Transport is unable to execute the transportation due to unforeseen reasons (e.g., route restrictions, regulatory issues, or force majeure events), we will:
- Reschedule the transportation to a mutually agreed date, or
- Provide a full refund of any amount received, excluding costs already incurred on permits or third-party payments.
- Refund Processing
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 180 business days of cancellation approval.
- Refunds will be made through the same mode of payment used at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
- No-Show Policy
If the customer fails to provide cargo for loading on the scheduled date without prior intimation, no refund will be provided, and all amounts paid will be forfeited.
- Force Majeure
KD Transport will not be liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to cancellations or refunds will be handled in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts located in Rewari (Haryana) will have exclusive jurisdiction.
